image linked to different Workbooks/spreadsheets -

working google sheets.

i trying make user friendly "dashboard" (not sure call it) employees click button open correct workbook/spreadsheet (there many business) published employee use only.

i have read multitude of posts linking image sheet/tab within same workbook/spreadsheet told isn't possible link image sheet/tab in different workbook/spreadsheet.

i can not believe true.

i have been able place link different workbook/spreadsheet in spreadsheet , works. can't link attached button image.

anyone or have ideas try?
